Chrissy Freer - Accredited Nutritionist and Menopause expert

Chrissy Freer is an accredited registered nutritionist (RNutr), researcher, health author and recipe creator with over 20 year’s industry experience. She specialises in women’s health and is passionate about supporting women’s nutrition, health and wellbeing, especially during perimenopause, menopause and beyond. Chrissy loves educating and empowering women during menopause, as this is a time many women start to experience health issues and may also struggle with weight management. She recently submitted her PhD thesis, focusing on muscle health, its link to metabolic diseases and the role of exercise and nutrition in optimising body composition in midlife and beyond. Chrissy also runs her own clinical practice in the Northern Rivers (face-to-face and via telehealth) and has contributed to countless magazines and books as a nutritionist, food and health writer and recipe developer and is author of 4 nutrition- based cookbooks published by Murdoch Books including her latest book ‘The Anti-inflammatory Cookbook’.
